Nigeria

The Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service, ‘FIRS’, has confirmed their plans to impose a 5% Value Added Tax on online transactions effective from 1 January 2020.

Zambia

Zambia is moving away from the current VAT regime where it will be replaced with sales tax system. The expected introduction date will be on January 2020.
