Financial Analyst
Key Accountabilities
  • World Class Planning & Analysis – Work with the Head of FP&A to build and maintain 5YP, budget and formal performance reporting

  • Preparation and analysis of month end reporting deliverables - work with our shared service centre team to own delivery of accurate, timely and simple reporting (weekly and month end) and ensure they are maintained

  • Multi-Disciplined Business Partnering - it is important you are comfortable with partnering with different functions agree budgets and subsequent reforecasts as well as obtain relevant insight and analysis to inform business decision making

  • Best practise processes - challenge the status quo to improve finance processes to establish efficient, accurate and efficient processes

  • Data analysis - It is critical that you are capable of analysing complex datasets and scenarios with an eye for identifying actionable insight

  • Continuous Improvement - helping to identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency across finance and the wider business while balancing product delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Ad Hoc project support - as required working to support strategic projects and initiatives. For some initiatives the candidate will be expected to take a lead project management type role

Experience
  • Outstanding analytical, financial interpretation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders whilst retaining attention to detail

  • Outstanding knowledge of Excel including advance formula, pivot tables and ideally macros

  • Microsoft office experience: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (advanced)

  • An inquisitive mind to understand our business and how it can be improved

  • A Commercial mind and be ready to discuss business cases, revenue, margin, profitability etc

  • Strong analytical skills and will be comfortable working with large amounts of data to draw correlations and conclusions.
